Description
Charles Frierson appeals his conviction for possession of methamphetamine in an amount of 400 grams or more. The jury assessed punishment at fifty years confinement and a $75,000 fine. In eight points of error, Frierson asserts that (1) the evidence is insufficient to support the verdict of methamphetamine possession in an amount of 400 grams or more, (2) the State used its peremptory challenges in a racially discriminatory manner, and the trial court erred by (3) failing to charge the jury on the lesser included offense of methamphetamine possession in an amount less than 28 grams, (4) excluding evidence tending to establish ill will, bias, motive, or animus of a States witness and evidence regarding Friersons consent to let a police officer enter the premises, and (5) admitting evidence over his objection because the evidence came from an illegal search. We overrule Friersons points of error. We arm the trial courts judgment.
